Privacy Policy

This policy covers limewashpros.com and proposals.limewashpros.com, both operated by LimeWash Pros LLC, 304 Bird Lane, Waxahachie, Texas 75165.

It is written in plain language and describes what the sites actually do. Where a section says we do not do something, that is a statement about this build, not an aspiration.

The short version

We collect what you type into our forms so we can quote and do your work. Our host keeps ordinary server logs. Checkout happens on Shopify, so we never see your card. We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel so we can advertise and see which adverts bring people here. Nothing else on this site tracks you. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, for any price.

What we collect, and when

When you ask for a quote

The quote form asks for your name, phone number, email address, city, and whether you are a homeowner, designer, builder or trade. It then asks about the work: the project address, whether it is an existing home, a remodel or new construction, which finish you want, the areas and surfaces involved, ceiling height, scope, timing, and anything you write in the message box. You may also attach photographs of the area, plans, and inspiration images. All of it reaches us by email and is stored with our host.

When you join the Zero VOC Home Program

That form asks for your name, phone, email, city, the size of your home, the term you want, what is motivating you, whether you want Sylvana added, and your message.

When we send you a proposal

Proposals live on proposals.limewashpros.com, each at its own private address. You should know two things about those pages.

First, the page tells us when it has been opened. It records the proposal reference, your name as we already have it, the time, how you arrived, and the general type of device and browser. It fires once per browser and only after the page has been open for five seconds, so a link preview or a mail scanner does not count as a read. It exists so we know when to follow up rather than guess.

Second, if you sign the agreement on that page, we record the signature you draw, your name, your email address, the moment you signed, the agreement total, a reference for the document, your confirmation that you consented to sign electronically, and your browser and IP address. That record is what makes the signature stand up, and we keep it for as long as the contract and our records require.

Both pages store one item in your browser so the same visit is not counted twice. It holds a timestamp and nothing else.

When you buy material

Our shop pages hand you to Shopify to check out. Payment details, billing and shipping addresses are collected there, by Shopify and its payment processors, under their policies. We never see or store your card number. If you pick a colour before checking out, your browser remembers it in a single item called lwp-colour so the choice travels to your order. It holds a colour name and a hex value. You can clear it any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Simply by visiting

Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time. Every website host does this, it is how a site is served and protected, and we use it only to keep the sites up and to see which pages are useful.

Advertising, and the Meta pixel

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To know whether those adverts are worth running, this site carries the Meta pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc.

It tells Meta when a page here is viewed, and when someone reaches our thank-you page after sending us an enquiry. With that it reports how many enquiries an advert produced, and it lets us show adverts to people who have visited before, or to people Meta judges similar to them. The pixel also reads your IP address and browser, and uses Meta's own cookies, which is how it recognises an account.

We do not send Meta your name, phone number, email address or anything you typed into a form. The pixel sees that a page was visited, not what you wrote on it.

How to stop it. Any of these work, and none of them affects your ability to use this site or to contact us:

• Your Facebook or Instagram settings, under Ads → Ad preferences, control what Meta does with this and let you disconnect off-Facebook activity.
• A tracker-blocking browser or extension stops the pixel loading at all.
• Most browsers can block third-party cookies outright.

What we still do not do

• No analytics software. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom.
• No Google or TikTok advertising tags.
• No session recording or heatmaps. Nobody is watching a replay of your visit.
• We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

Who else sees your information

Only the companies that make the sites work, and only for that purpose:

• Netlify — hosts both sites and receives form submissions.
• Google — our business email runs on Gmail, so anything you send us arrives in an inbox there.
• Shopify — runs checkout and payment for material orders.
• Suppliers and carriers — only the delivery details needed to get material to you.

We will also disclose information if the law requires it. That is the whole list.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries are kept while we are in touch and for our business records afterwards. Signed agreements, and the signature record attached to them, are kept for as long as the contract, the warranty on the work and our tax and insurance obligations require. Server logs turn over on our host's own schedule, a matter of days.

Your choices

Write to limewashpros@gmail.com and we will, without charge:

• tell you what we hold about you;
• send you a copy;
• correct anything wrong;
• delete it, except where we must keep it for a signed contract, a warranty, or tax and insurance records.

We offer this to everyone who asks, wherever you live, rather than only where a statute compels it.

Children

These sites are for people hiring a contractor or buying building material. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. We will not quietly start tracking you and leave this page as it was.
